Floatant on Foam?

Foam doesn't need floatant right? I don't understand why my Titanic is sinking (when there are no icebergs around). Well, even closed-cell foam gets waterlogged. I apply floatant whenever mine aren't skating effortlessly.

Also, avoid flourocarbon leaders. They are designed to sink and will pull any dry fly under.
