Painted Lady
This steelhead fly practically glows in the water and works well in colored or clear water. It presents a high profile to the fish while remaining easy to cast. This pattern has been successful on steelhead, searun browns, and dollies in Washington, Oregon, British Columbia, Argentina, and Chile. It has also caught quite a few Chinook (King) Salmon.
Tied on size 3 traditional Alec Jackson Spey Hooks. Available in orange, purple and black bodies.
